VEBY Virtual Exchange on "Identity and Cultural Awareness"!

#LDAMostar successfully organized and implemented the VEBY Virtual Exchange on "Identity and Cultural Awareness"! Over five interactive sessions (February 5–18, 2025), 40 young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Greece, and North Macedonia came together to explore identity, stereotypes, and cultural awareness through interactive discussions and activities.

What we explored:

Identity and Dialogue – Understanding identity, its intersections, and the role of dialogue in peacebuilding.

Stereotypes, Prejudices, and Discrimination – Exploring their impact and how to challenge misconceptions.

Youth-Led Exploration – Tackling key social challenges through discussions and interactive activities.

Cultural Awareness and Perception – Examining how cultural backgrounds influence perspectives and designing initiatives to promote diversity.

Tools to foster intercultural understanding.

At LDA Mostar, we are dedicated to empowering youth by fostering intercultural dialogue and helping young people understand the true meaning of identity. Through our work, we promote cultural awareness, inclusion, and mutual understanding among youth from different backgrounds.

This activity was implemented within the VEBY project, co-funded by the European Union , to foster meaningful virtual exchanges among youth in the Balkans.
