The Luxembourg Association for Intercultural Dialogue (ALDIC) has joined the National Business and Human Rights Pact, an initiative led by the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, in partnership with the House of Sustainability and the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce. By signing the Pact at the Palais de Justice, ALDIC reaffirmed its commitment to promoting human rights, inclusion, and responsible governance in its activities and partnerships.

The National Business and Human Rights Pact encourages organisations and businesses to integrate respect for human rights into their governance, operations, and decision-making processes. Signatories commit to raising awareness of human rights, strengthening mechanisms to identify and prevent risks, and promoting responsible, ethical, and sustainable practices in line with international standards, including the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

Through its participation, ALDIC contributes to the development of a more inclusive and sustainable economy in Luxembourg, where respect for human dignity, diversity, and intercultural dialogue are recognised as essential foundations for long-term social and economic progress. The initiative also provides opportunities for organisations to exchange good practices, strengthen their governance, and collaborate with other signatories committed to advancing responsible business conduct.
