ALF In Motion – Mobility for Partnership

As part of the Anna Lindh Foundation's “ALF In Motion – Mobility for Partnership” initiative, our Project Manager, Ms. Heddy, traveled to Tirana in May,   to participate in a week-long programme aimed at strengthening cross-border collaboration and fostering innovative project development.

The primary objective of this initiative was to bring together professionals and organizations within the Anna Lindh Foundation network to synergize their expertise, exchange best practices, and co-develop ideas for future cooperation. Throughout the intensive programme, participants worked collaboratively, culminating in the formulation and submission of a new project proposal under the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme.

During her stay, Ms. Heddy had the opportunity to meet with the Head of Network (HoN) in Albania, as well as other key ALF network members from Tirana and Elbasan. These interactions proved invaluable in fostering meaningful dialogue and strengthening our regional partnerships.

In addition to the formal working sessions, the programme included several cultural activities aimed at building trust and camaraderie among participants. These included visits to significant cultural landmarks in and around Tirana, as well as a group painting activity, which served as a creative and engaging team-building exercise.

The partnership for this initiative brought together three organizations:

  • CCIF (our organization),
  • European University from North Macedonia,
  • Institute for Advanced Studies and Cooperation (the host organization in Albania).

Following the success of this initial collaboration, the partners have agreed to reconvene in August. During this follow-up meeting, we will continue brainstorming and developing joint project proposals, with the goal of submitting new applications by the end of August.

We are enthusiastic about the momentum built during this mobility experience and look forward to deepening our cooperation through upcoming initiatives.
