A new collaboration with Canada - through main values and different experiences

On the 25th of May, ARTSCAPE had the pleasure of welcoming Canadian Ambassador Jeanette Sautner.

Canada’s leadership in today’s world is inspiring through its value-based choices — defending open society, democracy, and human rights. Since Mark Carney’s speech in Davos this January, I have been following and admiring the country’s principled and values-driven position on global issues.

It feels symbolic that this year, as Canadian board member Charlotte Yates joined our board, we are beginning a new collaboration with Canada.

At a time when the world is filled with noise, disinformation, and attempts to divide people, we do not need quieter voices — we need louder ones speaking up for humanity, for a society that is not afraid of diversity. And, something that deeply resonated in today’s conversation: women’s rights and leadership.
