DCYDE! is an educational project that empowers educators and youth workers to create programs in Global Citizenship Education (GCE) and sustainable development.

The project follows a two-step approach. Participants first take part in a free professional training to gain new knowledge, before applying the acquired skills in workshops and creating their own DCYDE! learning activities for and with young people.

The goal is to help young people develop the competencies they need to understand global connections and actively contribute to a sustainable future. DCYDE! builds digital and hybrid learning communities that connect youth from Europe and the Global South, making global citizenship not just taught, but experienced.

Grounded in GCE, Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), and the 4C competencies—Creativity, Critical Thinking, Communication, and Collaboration—the program uses digital media and online communication as central teaching tools.

Through the EU-wide Train-the-Trainer program (EU TTT), participants gain the skills to conduct national and regional trainings and implement their own projects in paid sessions, following guidance from international experts. Focus areas include inclusive education, hybrid learning design, and international networking.

DCYDE! offers professional growth, international connections, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact as a trainer locally and across Europe.
