The Mediterranean Youth Development Empowerment Action Lab (MYDEAL) is an international fellowship and capacity-building initiative that empowers youth workers and young professionals across the Mediterranean and MENA regions. Through research, training, and transnational collaboration, participants develop innovative approaches to youth engagement, civic participation, and community development. The programme includes a residential fellowship in Vienna, offering hands-on learning opportunities through workshops, study visits, job shadowing, and collaborative projects with international partners.

It is designed for youth workers, early-career professionals, and emerging leaders from the Mediterranean and MENA regions who are actively engaged in youth-focused, civil society, or community development work and are seeking to strengthen their practical skills, expand their international networks, and deepen their impact in the field.
