National Archaeological Museum of Durrës, Albania — with two closing concerts (10 and 12 July) held at Hotel Meliá, Durrës, as part of the collaboration with Festival Albania.

The XXI International Chamber Music Festival — Chamber Fest Durrës — took place from 30 June to 12 July 2026, under artistic director Nevila Kalaja Herczegh, a member of the Albanian Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation.

Organised by the "Italian-Albanian Arts and Culture" association and hosted mainly at the National Archaeological Museum of Durrës, the festival is a fixture of the city's cultural calendar since 2006.

This edition gathered ensembles from across Europe and beyond: the Arola String Quartet (Switzerland), the Macedonian Brass Quartet (North Macedonia), the Quetsch n'vibes ensemble (Austria), and Ensemble Classique (Germany), alongside the Albanian Youth Chamber Ensemble and the Màris String Quintet, uniting Albanian and Italian musicians.

A highlight came through the collaboration with Festival Albania, where the Albanian Youth Chamber Ensemble performed under the celebrated Maestro Shlomo Mintz, bringing together artists from Albania, Kosovo, and the United States.

The festival was supported by an international network of partners, including the Austrian and German Embassies in Tirana, the Italian Cultural Institute, North Macedonia's Ministry of Culture, and the Municipality of Durrës.
