Center ROG is organizing the program Makers in Residence, which invites creators to respond to the challenge of an increasing number of extreme heat days in cities, which has risen by up to 50% over the past five years.

Within this group residency, up to 10 participants will collaboratively develop an adaptable, modular shade structure for the community café in the Park of the Erased next to Center ROG. The residency will take place from the end of May to early June, both in person in Ljubljana and online.

Center ROG invites creators from diverse fields - design, architecture, engineering, digital fabrication, crafts, and anyone interested in climate-responsive and community-focused creation.

The organizers offer participants coverage of travel expenses, accommodation, meals, access to fabrication labs, materials, mentorship, networking opportunities, and more.
