On January 30, 2025, the second physical meeting of the members of the Macedonian network of the Anna Lindh Foundation was held in the Public Room. The meeting began with a meeting moderated by Simona Slavkova, the project coordinator of the network. At this meeting, we discussed all the activities and achievements in the past months, as well as the opportunities that are opening up for the coming period.

In the spirit of strengthening the network, we jointly concluded that it is necessary to deepen mutual support and cooperation, especially between organizations with similar or the same areas of activity. To this end, ideas for more joint events, partnerships and trainings were considered that would not only strengthen the network, but also deepen relations between members.

After the meeting, members had the opportunity to participate in a training dedicated to one of the priority thematic areas of the network - local democracy and citizen participation. The training was held by Ivana Velkova, Director ad interim of ALDA Balkans, who, through practical examples from ALDA's work, introduced members to the key mechanisms and tools for building sustainable democratic processes at the local level.

This meeting was another significant step in the development of the network and in building stronger partnerships. In the coming period, many new meetings, events and initiatives will follow that will enrich the network with even more inspiring stories and good practices.
