In the second half of 2025, we are pleased to welcome four new members to the Czech national network of the Anna Lindh Foundation. These diverse and inspiring initiatives further enrich our community of actors committed to intercultural dialogue, civic engagement, and contemporary culture.
Each of the new member entities brings a unique field of expertise and a strong commitment to openness, collaboration, and fostering respect for diversity.
Puppet Theatre Ostrava / Divadlo loutek Ostrava
Puppet Theatre Ostrava is a leading cultural institution focused on theatre for children and young audiences. Their productions combine playfulness with deeper meaning, striving to inspire curiosity and discovery. The theatre actively contributes to the development of contemporary puppetry, connects artistic creation with education, and emphasizes international collaboration and social responsibility.
Founded in 2001, Arnika is a Czech non-profit organization dedicated to protecting nature and ensuring a healthy environment in Czechia and abroad. By combining civic participation, scientific expertise, and media outreach, Arnika empowers citizens to engage in environmental decision-making and promotes ecological justice.
Obnaženi Festival
Held annually in the town of Chomutov since 2003, Obnaženi is an international festival of contemporary art. Organized by a dedicated civic association, the festival transforms public space through performances, exhibitions, and community events, offering a space for both artists and audiences to engage in critical reflection and creative experimentation.
Bazaar Festival / Live Performance Bazaar
The Bazaar Festival is an international platform for progressive creators in theatre and dance, especially from the independent scenes of Central and Eastern Europe — and, since 2019, also the Middle East. The festival provides space for bold artistic voices that are willing to take risks and challenge established norms across disciplines and cultures.
