Held every spring, Mediawave attracts bold voices from Europe and beyond – including outstanding works from the Euro-Mediterranean region. At the latest edition, the Best Short Fiction Award went to the Spanish film You Will Be a Man, a moving exploration of gender roles and identity.

The festival showcases a wide range of genres and forms, from intimate documentaries to experimental music films and dance-driven visual storytelling.
