Discussion on mainstreaming gender equality in EuroMed cooperation
Reka Si Institute was happy to bring together a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, civil society representatives, and diaspora communities who are all committed to advancing gender equality for all. In times of growing anti-gender backlash, they firmly believe that only by uniting our efforts can we stand strong for gender justice in the EuroMed region and beyond.
This event was part of the National Outreach Dialogue by the Anna Lindh Foundation, within the Knowledge for Action program.
Key readings of the discussion:
  • The EuroMed New Report - Analyzing the dynamics of the anti-gender backlash in the Euro-Mediterranean region.
  • Guidelines for the Mainstreaming of Gender Equality in Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid (Republic of Slovenia).
  • Policy Paper - Integrating the EU Gender Action Plan 2020-2025 into the EU’s renewed partnership with the Southern Neighborhood: A New Agenda for the Mediterranean.
