Earth’s Greatest Enemy Screening (Earth Day 2026)

Thematic area: Environment/Sustainable development

Language: English

April-May 2026

The screening was organised by Muse asbl as part of its commitment to promoting public dialogue on environmental responsibility, global justice, and the broader societal impacts of militarisation. The event formed part of the Earth Day programme and contributed to raising awareness of often overlooked structural drivers of climate change.

Muse organised a public screening of the documentary Earth’s Greatest Enemy, directed by Abby Martin and produced with The Empire Files. The film investigates the environmental footprint of the United States military and highlights its global ecological impact through investigative reporting, powerful visual material, and testimonies from communities affected by military activity. The screening created a space for reflection and discussion on the connections between climate change, environmental accountability, and global military structures.
