The Euro-Mediterranean CSO Conference 2026 is organised by the Anna Lindh Foundation Cyprus Network member CARDET (Centre for the Advancement of Research and Development in Educational Technology).

The Euro-Mediterranean CSO Conference 2026, taking place on 23–24 April at the University of Nicosia in Cyprus, is a significant international gathering that brings together civil society organisations (CSOs), policymakers, academics, and institutional representatives from across Europe and the Mediterranean. Organised by CARDET, the conference aims to strengthen cooperation, dialogue, and innovation within civil society, particularly at a time when democratic values and civic space are facing increasing challenges. The event provides a platform for participants to exchange ideas, share best practices, and explore collaborative solutions to pressing regional issues.

The conference agenda addresses a wide range of topics reflecting current social, political, and technological developments. In addition, discussions will focus on the growing impact of artificial intelligence and digital transformation, as well as broader geopolitical developments in the Mediterranean region. Through keynote speeches, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, participants will have the opportunity to engage with leading experts and policymakers on these critical issues.
