At Finjan Kulturcafe, member fo the ALF Danish network, culture isn’t just something to consume, it’s something to live, share, and build together. Located in the heart of Blågårds Plads, Finjan is a vibrant meeting place where stories, people, and traditions from Syria and the broader Middle East are honored with love, depth, and intention.

On Monday, April 28, Finjan invites the public to a special screening of “Warfare in the Air” by Syrian filmmaker Abdullah Alhakawati. This raw, deeply human documentary captures the final seven months in the besieged city of Douma before forced displacement. Through the eyes of one family, the film reveals the daily struggle for survival in a city under siege, where rebuilding shattered homes and clinging to fading memories becomes an act of resistance.
