April 2026, village of Banya, Bulgaria

The Association “International Initiatives for Cooperation” organised and implemented two international activities under the Erasmus+ Programme, within its Key Action 1 Youth accreditation.

From 14 to 20 April 2026, the organisation conducted a youth exchange titled “Intercultural Communication and Identity”, bringing together young participants from different countries. This was followed by an international mobility of youth workers from 22 to 26 April 2026 under the project “Towards Sustainable Lifestyle”.

Both activities were developed in the context of Erasmus+ efforts to promote intercultural dialogue, active citizenship, and sustainable development among young people and youth workers. The youth exchange aimed to strengthen participants’ intercultural communication skills, foster mutual understanding, and encourage reflection on personal and cultural identity. The training for youth workers focused on enhancing knowledge and practical skills related to sustainability, environmental responsibility, and the development of green initiatives.

Participants benefited by gaining valuable competences, practical tools, and international experience, which they can apply in their personal lives, professional development, and community engagement.
