Graffiti ABC Training:Street Art for Social Change

Thematic area: Arts

Language: English

10-16 June 2026, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy and Serbia.

As part of the Creative Canvas project, the Graffiti ABC Training Course brought together young people, youth workers, educators, and activists from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, and Serbia.

Through creative workshops, group work, and non-formal education methods, participants explored how art, especially graffiti, can be used to raise awareness about discrimination, hate speech, bullying, and other social issues. The training provided an opportunity to test the new Graffiti ABC Guidebook, exchange experiences, and develop ideas for local awareness-raising campaigns that participants will implement in their communities.

Youth Centre Perspektiva from Albania together with its partners Hate Fighters Network (HFN) from Serbia, Beyond Borders from Italy and Obojena Klapa from Bosnia and Herzegovina implements a capacity building project "Creative Canvas" to tackle issues of discrimination, hate speech, cyberviolence and gender-based discrimination and violence through creative tools and methods in work with young people.
