Over three days, the forum gathered more than 600 participants from 43 Euro-Mediterranean countries, including young leaders, policymakers, civil society activists, artists, and others. The forum's activities revolved around promoting dialogue and cultural exchange among the various countries in the region.
The session featured inspiring interventions, engaging panel discussions, and valuable human encounters. It addressed vital topics such as democratic youth participation, the role of media, environmental sustainability, and the importance of art and culture in building bridges of dialogue. The forum also paid special attention to highlighting the voice of youth in the Euro-Mediterranean cooperation process, with the presentation of practical proposals aimed at strengthening mobility, inclusion, and collective action.
Hajer Boualam participated in the forum as a speaker, where he presented an important initiative adopted by the association he belongs to, related to strengthening civic engagement during emergencies. He also had the opportunity to communicate and exchange ideas with participants from more than 43 countries. Boualam described this experience as an emotional moment filled with pride and responsibility.
At the conclusion of his participation, Boualam expressed his deep gratitude to the organizers, speakers, volunteers, the Anna Lindh Network in Lebanon, and everyone who contributed to the success of this positive dynamic of dialogue between peoples. He also specifically thanked Mrs. Riache, head of the Anna Lindh Foundation Algerian Network, for the trust she placed in him.
This participation of the young Algerian man in this forum embodies the common goal of building bridges between cultures, valuing the role of civil society, and enhancing the work of youth in the service of a shared and prosperous future.
