The CCIVS (Coordinating Committee for International Voluntary Service), member of the French network, organises a Symposium on Environmental and Social Justice in Pretoria, South Africa, which can also be followed online. The event is part of the EU co-founded project Voices for Change, and it aims at creating a space of conversation about environmental degradation, social injustice, and colonial legacies. 

The conference is envisioned as a platform that promotes the exchange of ideas on how to promote environmental and social justice in the best way. It counts with the participation of experts who will reflect on policy and advocacy strategies. Moreover, it will also show the power of the International Voluntary Service, a local action, in influencing the decolonial environmental and social justice agenda.
