The conference will bring together policy-makers, transport and logistics professionals, port and rail representatives, researchers, and students to discuss topics such as port competition, rail and hinterland connectivity, EU transport strategies, resilience, sustainability, and the blue economy.
Held as part of the Ocean Literacy Day under the EUNICoast alliance, the event will feature high-level panel discussions and moderated debates. The working language is English, with subtitles planned in several Mediterranean languages.
The event is taking place at EMUNI University in Koper (Capodistria), Slovenia, on 8 June 2026.
