Joint Cultural Exhibition of the Member Countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)
Within the framework of the programme of the first intercultural meeting of the youth of the member countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the youth of Spain, a joint cultural exhibition of the GCC countries is organised at the headquarters of the Fundación Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo with the aim of promoting an optimal intercultural understanding, in this case, between Arab and Spanish culture. Through the different sections of this exhibition, the youth delegations of the Gulf countries (United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman, State of Qatar and State of Kuwait) will introduce the Spanish people to a highly considerable and significant part of the Arab culture of the Gulf countries. The exhibition will have several cultural, social and artistic sections, through which visitors will be able to learn more about the past and present of the GCC countries, as well as their history and the most important future cultural projects in the area. In addition to the various artistic and musical performances and the screening of documentaries on Arab history and culture, there will be a section on typical Arab cuisine and another for taking souvenir photos in traditional Arab dress.
