MABAT – Awareness in a Multicultural Society Appointed as Head of the ALF Israeli Network

'MABAT – Awareness in a Multicultural Society' was elected as the new Head of the Anna Lindh Foundation’s Israeli Network, following a nationwide vote by the Network’s members in April 2025.

MABAT (www.mabat.org) is a civil society organization that develops and facilitates intercultural dialogue programs, primarily for Jewish and Arab students across Israeli universities and colleges. The organization also leads a vibrant community of dialogue practitioners and coordinates a wide range of grassroots initiatives.

“Our challenge is to reactivate the Israeli Network, strengthen collaboration among civil society and dialogue organizations in Israel, and support the development of international connections. Especially in these times, civil society partnerships and networks of dialogue offer hope and meaning.”
