Thematic area: Heritage

Language: English

6 September 2025, Herdade da Adua – Casal n.º 8, Portugal

The Portuguese member organisation MARCA ADL invites the public to discover its Native Plant Nursery (Viveiro de Plantas Nativas) during a special guided visit on the morning of 6 September 2025.

This free event offers visitors the opportunity to explore the production processes of native plants, learn about their ecological value, and understand the benefits of using local species in landscape restoration and environmental education. Participants will also gain insight into MARCA ADL’s sustainable methods and community-based approach, which combines environmental stewardship with civic participation.

The initiative aims to raise awareness about biodiversity conservation and promote environmentally responsible practices that contribute to healthier ecosystems and more sustainable territories. By opening its doors to the public, MARCA ADL strengthens dialogue between citizens, researchers, and local actors working to protect Portugal’s natural heritage.

Participation is free but subject to prior registration through the online form provided by the organisation.
