Formatia 127 consist of clarinetist Lars Ydgren and producer/ musician and David Giese (aka Joxaren), based in Skärholmen/ Sweden. The duo was founded when arranging the monthly Balkan-/elektro club “Sintetizator” in Hornstull 2018.
Greek-Swedish-Cypriot supporting act Meteora plays live rebetika (underground Greek music from the 1920s and onwards) and consists of Thomai Gkantiraga (guitar & vocals), Anna Gavanas (baglamas & vocals) and Peter Gavanas (bouzouki), with oud player Andreas Krambias (oud). From upbeat tsifteteli to deep grooves inspired by the mountains of Meteora and the streets of Exarcheia/ Athens.
Club Maqam explores musical encounters in the Balkan and Eastern Mediterranean region.
