Moniheli starts international cooperation: Digital Skills Open Doors for Women
Great news from Moniheli! Moniheli is taking its first step towards international cooperation by launching a new project aimed at helping immigrant women develop digital skills essential for employment and integration. New DigiUp Toolbox project is led by our expert Yuri Kitaba.

DigiUp Toolbox project, funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers, will kick off in March. It is an expansion of the existing DigiUp program and will run for one year. The project promotes inclusion, sustainable growth, and the integration of refugees and migrants in the Nordic and Baltic countries. This marks a major milestone for Moniheli in international collaboration.

The project will create an online toolkit designed for trainers and experts in the Nordic and Baltic countries. It will strengthen their capacity to support migrant women in acquiring key digital skills for the world of work.

The project is managed by Yuri Kitaba, a seasoned expert from DigiUp. Yuri brings with her enormous experience and passion for promoting digital inclusion.

- I am honoured to lead this new project at Moniheli, especially because this topic is both professionally and personally meaningful to me. Working on the DigiUp over the past three years has taught me a lot about the importance of digital inclusion for the well-being of communities and society. I am truly excited about this new challenge and the opportunity to expand my expertise to international cooperation, says Yuri Kitaba.

- DigiUp Toolbox is also an exciting first step for Moniheli into international cooperation. We are thrilled to collaborate with our partners in Finland, Denmark, and Estonia on this important project.

- Together, we will form a close-knit working group whose first task will be to map existing best practices and challenges in digital skills training. The practical toolkit developed during the project aims to address the needs of stakeholders working in the field, says Yuri Kitaba.

The Nordic Council of Ministers is the official body for intergovernmental cooperation among the Nordic countries. Their vision is to make the Nordic region the most sustainable and integrated region in the world by 2030.
