LAG Agro Lider launched the project “Field Oversight: Monitoring Potential Misuse of Administrative Resources at the Local Level” on August 15, 2025.
The project activities enabled monitoring of potential misuse of administrative resources during the 2025 local elections in the Municipalities of Dolneni and Strumica. This initiativ is being implemented in more than 25 municipalities across the country, with the support of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).
The project involved field monitoring of public events, activities of public officials, and actions of electoral participants, with the aim of identifying and documenting cases where municipal resources—such as vehicles, premises, employees, or public events—were used for partisan purposes.

The project provided reliable and impartial data to promote transparency and accountability of public institutions. A team of trained monitors conducted fieldwork, coordinated by a project coordinator ensuring compliance with IFES methodology. The goal is to raise awareness of democratic standards, inform citizens about legal frameworks, and support institutional accountability. Through this project, LAG Agro Lider strives to strengthen civic awareness, ensure fair and transparent elections, and create a foundation for long-term reforms in the management of public resources.
