A FROOOM! film "Day at the Krapina Neanderthal Museum" will participate in Medezfest 2026 as part of the activities by Shadow Casters, member of the Croatian ALF Network, that will take place in May 2026, at Malta (Rabat).

The animated film "A Day at the Krapina Neanderthal Museum", created as part of the FROOOM! Film School for Children and Youth, will participate at the competition program of Medezfest, an international festival of children's filmmaking.

The film was created in 2022 at the FROOOM! workshop, as part of the museum program "With a Neanderthal" at the Krapina Neanderthal Museum, Croatia. Through animation and a documentary approach, children explored and reinterpreted the life of Neanderthals and the museum exhibition, creating their own, playful and authentic version of the past, that is not just educational content — it is a space for imagination, play and interpretation, in which history meets the personal experience and creativity of young authors.
