In the "Haki Stërmilli" Palace of Culture, on November 28th, the musical activity with the motto "Sounds that Connect" was held, on the Mediterranean Day, a day that also corresponds to the Independence Day in Albania.

A concert prepared by the girls' artistic group "Evening Under the Sounds of the Guitar" with Artistic Director Ermal Lushi, who are the first of their kind in the entire Dibra region.

For the preparation of this activity, which was supported by ALF, Network Albania, member of the ALF Network in Albania collaborated closely with Alfa Omega Center, Dibër Youth Center, Dibër Municipality Cultural Center and high schools in Peshkopi and Maqellarë for the dances and poems performed during the show.

The repertoire was very diverse as Albanian, Arbëreshe (Albanians of Italy), Greek, Arvanite, Italian and other Albanian-speaking songs were performed.

Network Albania made sure that there was a large participation of girls and young people who lived in the rural areas, to include them in this activity, which was the first of its kind in Dibër.  The hall was overflowing and it was received with great enthusiasm by the participants.
