New toolkit on green serenity and wellbeing

Thematic area: Youth and education

Language: English

Green Serenity project is running from October 2025 to September 2027.

The ALF Swedish network member launched a new guide to support youth mental wellbeing "Green Serenity Guide for Stress Resilience and Positive Mental Well-being".

The guide brings together nature therapy, mindfulness, and positive psychology into a practical toolkit for supporting young people facing stress, trauma, and the lasting effects of abuse or neglect.

What's inside the guide:

  • 30 ready-to-run workshops for in-person delivery
  • Nature-based practices: forest bathing, community gardening, land art
  • Mindfulness tools: meditation and sensory awareness exercises
  • Group activities that build trust, communication, and emotional safety

The guide is built for youth workers, educators, psychologists, counsellors, and social and healthcare professionals, equipping them with concrete methods to help young people regulate emotions, rebuild a sense of safety, and strengthen their own capacity for healing.
