The Participatory Stage brings together a multidisciplinary group of 3 participants to collaboratively develop participatory performances and spatial interventions together with local audiences. Working across performing arts, scenography, architecture, urban design, and socially engaged practice, the residency explores how artistic participation can activate public space and create new forms of dialogue, gathering, and collective imagination.

The residency takes place at Kommendanthuset and in the surrounding public green spaces during summer.

Using co-creation, prototyping, and reused materials, participants will experiment with temporary structures and performative formats that invite public interaction and remain as informal gathering points beyond the residency period.
