On April 30th, the third edition of the Education and Career Fair was held with great interest at the premises of the Ohrid Youth Center. The event was a unique opportunity for high school graduates and students from Ohrid’s primary and secondary schools to receive relevant information and guidance for their future. 

Attendees had the chance to get acquainted with the educational offer of more than 13 state and private universities from all over Macedonia, to learn about current activities and programs in Ohrid’s secondary schools, as well as to learn more about study opportunities in the United States. In addition, individual sessions with career counselors also attracted great interest, where young people received professional support in choosing their future – be it higher education or a professional path. 

The Education and Career Fair is organized with the aim of informing, motivating and guiding young people in making important decisions related to their future. Through direct contact with universities, educational institutions, exchange programs and professionals, students gain a realistic picture of the opportunities available to them. Such events represent an important step in building an aware and prepared young generation, which has access to the right information, tools and support for successful career planning. 

The Youth Center in Ohrid is a space that actively works to create opportunities for young people and encourage their development, and operates under the leadership of the SEGA Coalition, an organization dedicated to promoting youth participation.
