Jabal Al-Nar Club inaugurated the Girls’ Space Corner while celebrating the graduation of the first cohort of participants, reaffirming its commitment to creating safe and supportive environments that empower girls and strengthen their role in society. The program was implemented in cooperation with Sharek Youth Forum and in partnership with United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), with the participation of local community organizations.
More than 75 girls graduated after completing a comprehensive training program focused on life skills development, including self-confidence building, communication, teamwork, and decision-making. The program also introduced entrepreneurship sessions encouraging creativity and supporting participants in developing community initiatives with social impact.
Participants further benefited from psychosocial support sessions that promoted mental well-being and resilience, as well as awareness activities on physical health and healthy lifestyles.
The opening of the Girls’ Space Corner marks an important step toward sustaining a dedicated space where girls can continue developing their skills, strengthening their confidence, and actively engaging in their communities.
