How do religion, non-religion and different worldviews affect people’s experiences of belonging and exclusion?

The Religion and Social Exclusion (RelEx) research project at Åbo Akademi University is inviting young adults aged 18–30 to participate in a study exploring the relationship between worldviews and social exclusion.

The study welcomes young adults with different backgrounds and experiences, whether religious, non-religious, LGBTQIA+ or identifying in other ways.

Experiences of belonging and exclusion are not the same for everyone. Religion, identity and different worldviews can influence how young people experience their communities and society.

The survey is available in several languages, including Finnish, Swedish, English, Arabic and Sámi, making participation accessible to a wider range of young adults.
