The President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, will inaugurate YouTopic Fest 2025 on June 6 in Rondine, Arezzo. The international festival, dedicated to dialogue and conflict transformation, gathers over 5,000 participants each year. President Mattarella’s visit fulfills a promise made to Rondine students in 2018 and highlights his commitment to peacebuilding efforts. His presence will support young people from conflict zones—Israelis, Palestinians, Ukrainians, Russians—who live and study together at Rondine’s World House, learning to transform enmity into coexistence. The event opens with the symbolic “On the Road for Peace” march and continues with three days of discussions and action under the theme “ImmaginAzione”—uniting imagination with action to build a more peaceful world. YouTopic Fest stands as a powerful platform where youth, educators, and changemakers confront war by reimagining futures rooted in dialogue.
