Procur.arte, a cultural association based in Lisbon that promotes culture through critical and constructive artistic projects, is inviting the public to the opening of “Encontrar-te-ei*”, a colourful and joyful exhibition by Guillaume Vieira.

The event will take place on 9 April at 18:30 at Procur.arte, offering an energising artistic experience and an opening moment designed to welcome audiences into the exhibition’s universe. The show explores tourism as a powerful contemporary phenomenon, tracing its historical roots and questioning how it has evolved into a “myth” that shapes desire, consumption and the way we look at places and at ourselves.

Presented in the context of Lisbon’s current transformations, the exhibition invites visitors to reflect on where they stand in the city today and how easily we can lose our sense of self in fast-changing urban environments. Through what Procur.arte calls “the art of looking”, the initiative creates space for cultural participation, critical reflection and dialogue around everyday life in Lisbon.
