Rato - ADCC: Promoting International Volunteering for Inclusion and Learning

Since 2004, Rato - ADCC, a Portuguese member organization of the network, has been actively engaged in hosting and sending international volunteers through various international programs. These volunteering projects have not only enriched the work of partner organizations and communities but, above all, have provided volunteers with transformative learning experiences.

Rato - ADCC views international volunteering as a powerful tool for social inclusion, offering opportunities for everyone, regardless of their background, to engage in meaningful solidarity work. Through these initiatives, individuals not only contribute to the well-being of communities but also develop skills, knowledge, and a deeper understanding of cultural diversity.

As a Eurodesk multiplier, Rato - ADCC plays a key role in supporting individuals and organizations by answering questions and assisting in the development of applications, particularly for programs such as the European Solidarity Corps.
