FLAGSHIP PROGRAMMES
On December 17, 2024, at the Marko Cepenkov Cultural Center in Prilep, the Coalition of Youth Organizations SEGA, in partnership with SOS Children's Village Macedonia, successfully organized the "Skills, Employability, and Career Fair." The aim of this event was to promote skills among young people that are crucial for their employment and career development, as well as to create a bridge between businesses and young unemployed individuals.
The event was divided into two parts: the first part consisted of a panel discussion on the topic "The Importance of Strengthening Skills in Youth for Employment or Self-Employment," while the second part was a fair featuring local companies and vocational high schools.
The panel discussion was opened by leading figures from the local economic and educational scene, who emphasized the importance of developing skills among young people and their role in employment and self-employment processes. During the discussion, Mr. Nikola Marinovski, Mr. Kire Trpcheski, and Mr. Goce Bumbaroski shared their experiences and provided professional advice to the youth, which was highly valuable for their future careers. The second part of the event was the fair, where local businesses and vocational schools participated. These organizations presented their employment opportunities and educational programs through booths, giving young people direct access to information about career paths and educational options.
The Skills, Employability, and Career Fair proved to be an excellent platform for connecting young people with opportunities in the labor market. The event confirmed the interest of young people in developing their skills and advancing their careers.
The SEGA Coalition and SOS Children's Village Macedonia will continue their efforts to improve the youth sector and connect young people with future prospects.
