Join us in celebrating the Day of the Mediterranean with an evening of music that transcends borders, connecting us all through shared rhythms and harmonies. Supported by
Brno-střed Municipality and organised by the Multicultural Center Brusinka in collaboration with the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF), this event fosters intercultural dialogue, highlights diversity, and deepens our sense of community.
The event will feature musicians with strong ties to the community and unique experiences in diversity and intercultural dialogue. It is a rare opportunity to experience local talents while celebrating the Mediterranean spirit and its cultural heritage. The concert, held in a public space, aims to build cultural connections, highlight local artists, and encourage collaboration across communities.
Amateur musicians, students, teachers, and friends of the
Multicultural Center will take the stage. You’ll hear solo performances of popular, folk, and jazz songs, along with diverse melodies from people from all over the world, performed on various instruments. Come, experience the sounds that unite us all, embrace the vibrant cultural dialogues that shape our world, and strengthen community bonds across borders. This evening of music is a celebration of unity, diversity, and shared expression that you won’t want to miss!
Why Attend?
This project, part of the ALF’s Mediterranean Day initiative, seeks to unite the Euro-Mediterranean region with simultaneous free musical performances across various countries, including the Czech Republic, on November 28, 2024. Through the universal language of music, we celebrate cultural richness and reaffirm the values of empathy, respect, and cross-cultural understanding.
