In a significant effort to build cultural bridges and promote mutual understanding, Amigos de Europa (Spain) and the GOZOOR Foundation (Egypt) are launching an intercultural initiative under the Anna Lindh Foundation's ALF in Motion program.
The ALFinMOTION call promotes cooperation between intercultural dialogue operators on both shores of the Mediterranean, providing financial support for initiatives like this one.
The Caravan project marks an innovative collaboration between Amigos de Europa, a Spanish organization with extensive experience in Erasmus+ programs, and the GOZOOR Foundation of Cairo, renowned for its promotion of Egyptian arts, crafts, and social initiatives.
Beginning its journey in Lucena, Spain, the project will continue to other countries over the course of a year, creating a "caravan of cultures" that celebrates global heritage and shared values. Caravan offers participants a unique and immersive experience, with activities designed to deepen cultural understanding and enhance artistic skills. They will take part in creative workshops spanning painting, dance, music, and theater, providing a space to express and celebrate their cultural identities. Additionally, participants will attend training sessions with artists and experts, gaining valuable tools in cultural event management and intercultural communication.
Follow with us the progress of this exciting intercultural journey and witness how this "Caravan" unites cultures in a global effort toward diversity and cooperation!
