Syrian Doc Days is officially kicking off this year’s festival season with a special program release event in Copenhagen. The evening will offer film, conversation, food, and music, and everyone is welcome.

The highlight of the night is an exclusive screening of the short film In The Wind by Waseem Safadi, followed by a panel discussion with Agob Yacoub, Daro, and Assem. Guests will also enjoy a community dinner, live DJ sets, and the unveiling of the 2025 festival program.

Evening Program

• 17:00 – Doors open + welcome drink

• 17:30 – Welcome & introduction by Agob Yacoub

• 18:00 – Exclusive screening: In The Wind by Waseem Safadi

• 18:30 – Panel discussion with Agob, Daro & Assem

• 19:00 – Dinner

• 20:30 – DJ (TBA)

• 22:00–23:30 – Music by DJ Kipanga (Middle-East Electro Funk)

• 23:30 – Closing
