The Austrian Commission for UNESCO invites to a talk with an ensuing discussion on The intangible heritage of our multi-local society in the run-up to the conference of the Österreichischen Netzwerks für Migrationsgeschichte (ÖNM). Central to the talk is the question of the meaning of intangible cultural heritage in a multi-local society and how different stakeholders (such as museums, research-, art-, and cultural institutes) contribute to the preservation and visibility of cultural heritage.
