Active ALF Algeria Network member, the Dalil Association, represented by Mr. Khaled Mehaiz, Vice-President, participated in the important forum organized by the United Nations Volunteers, in cooperation with the University of Pretoria and South Africa, in the Togolese capital, Lomé.
Mr. Mehaiz attended the "Africa Sessions for Volunteer Experts," which aimed to discuss the Global Volunteer Index and the 2026 report in this field. These sessions aim to bring together experts and specialists in volunteering from across the African continent to exchange experiences and visions on ways to enhance and develop this field.
The participation of Mr. Mehaiz, representing the Algerian Network and the Dalil Association, comes within the framework of preparing for the 2026 Global Volunteer Index report, which seeks to highlight the importance of volunteering and its role in achieving sustainable development. This effective participation is expected to contribute to strengthening efforts to support and encourage volunteering in Africa, in a way that serves the goals of sustainable development.
