This month at PCRC, young people were at the centre of everything we did. From the fourth Peace Festival in Sarajevo to documentary screenings across BiH, from a journalism fellowship on memory and denial to hosting students from Turkey and welcoming researchers from across Europe - May was a month of dialogue, reflection and connection across difference. 

As part of the Generation Memory project, this month PCRC organised the fourth Peace Festival - a three-day programme that brought together 40 young people from across Bosnia and Herzegovina to explore themes of memorialisation, remembrance and peacebuilding. Through creative workshops, panel discussions, visits to sites of suffering and the opening of the exhibition "Love Tales", participants had the opportunity to reflect on their own and collective identities, and on what connects them across lines of division.
