On 13 March 2025, in Zagreb, ALF Croatia member, Society for Shaping Sustainable Development (DOOR), organised the conference entitled “Increasing Gender Equality in the European Energy Sector”. The conference brought together numerous experts, leaders and decision-makers with the aim of empowering women in the energy sector and encouraging girls to choose STEM careers. The conference emphasized that achieving equality requires systemic changes in education, employment and public policies, and such conferences provide concrete guidelines for the future of gender equality in energy.
