Trainer’s Community Lab in Italy: Co-Designing Support & Recognition for the Trainer Field

The Trainer’s Community Lab is an intensive residential seminar designed by trainers for trainers who want to move beyond traditional networking formats and actively contribute to strengthening Europe’s youth work training community. This hands-on learning experience focuses on identifying needs and gaps in the field, enhancing professional recognition, and co-creating sustainable support systems, shared practices, and community rituals for trainers across Europe. Participants will critically reflect on the concept of “community” within youth work, analyse existing support ecosystems, and collaboratively design and test concrete prototypes that can inform European-level strategies. The seminar is aimed at experienced trainers, coordinators, and active contributors to European training networks who are motivated to engage in collaborative learning and bring in their expertise.
