Training Palestinian Youth on Media Literacy

Palestinian Network for Media Development participated in training a group of Palestinian youth through a specialized program on media literacy, critical thinking, and artificial intelligence. The program was implemented by Yatta Association for Higher Education in cooperation with University of Rhode Island.

The two-day training was delivered by media experts and focused on enhancing youth skills in understanding modern media and using artificial intelligence tools in a responsible and informed manner. Participants explored key topics such as news verification, distinguishing between misinformation and credible sources, and applying AI in media production.

The initiative aims to strengthen young people’s critical and creative abilities in engaging with digital content. It forms part of ongoing efforts to empower Palestinian youth and expand their opportunities in digital media and emerging technologies.
