Under the Same Moon: An Evening of Climate Stories and Global Connection

ALF Denmark member Civilsamfund i Udvikling -CISU, Dagbladet Information, GRASP, and Republique/Revolver are joining forces with OpEn – the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Information and Engagement Pool – to host an evening centered on climate storytelling across borders.

Titled "Under the Same Moon", the event is inspired by a unique dissemination project supported by OpEn and created by award-winning photographer Anders Rye Skjoldjensen and acclaimed author Peder Frederik Jensen. Their collaborative travel report brings to life the intimate and often overlooked realities of the climate crisis as it unfolds in the Global South.

Through words and images, the evening will explore how artistic storytelling bridges continents, amplifies marginalized voices, and challenges audiences at home to rethink their role in the global climate fight. Central to the discussion are urgent questions: What role should artistic narratives from the climate frontlines play in the Global North? And who gets to tell these stories?

The program promises deep reflection, moving visuals, and thought-provoking dialogue on the power of storytelling to connect lives lived under the same moon, but in vastly different worlds.
