Urgent Psychosocial Support in Lebanon

Thematic area: Human rights

Institute Circle is implementing urgent psychosocial support activities in Lebanon due to the growing humanitarian crisis. As part of the project “Environmentally Friendly Produced Food, Health and Protection from Violence for Well-being of Women in Lebanon,” regular group psychosocial sessions for girls and women are being organised, alongside individual psychological support provided by a psychologist.

Many participants report experiencing fear and depression linked to the ongoing violence and instability, which further intensifies existing financial and economic hardships faced by families in Lebanon.

The programme provides women with access to a safe and confidential space where they can share their experiences and concerns. Participants report that the activities help them express emotions more easily, manage stress more effectively, and better cope with everyday challenges.
