"We are the change" New awareness campaign launched by Spain

The Spanish Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation (ReFAL) announces the official launch of the campaign "We Are the Change: Strong and Active Communities, Here and Now," an initiative aimed at highlighting and enhancing the collective impact of its members in promoting interculturality, democracy, and coexistence. The campaign will be publicly presented on December 16, 2024 marking the beginning of a year focused on strengthening Mediterranean civil society.

Through this campaign, ReFAL seeks to unify under a common identity all the activities that will take place throughout 2025, aligning efforts to generate a more significant social impact. The three key thematic priorities that will guide this collective action are:

  • Youth and Democracy: Empowering the new generations to actively participate in democratic systems.
  • New Narratives Against Polarization: Combating hate speech and fostering social cohesion.
  • Strengthening Communities: Addressing contemporary vulnerabilities with inclusive and collaborative solutions. The slogan of the campaign, "We Are the Change," reinforces ReFAL’s commitment to collective action and the building of resilient communities. This initiative not only drives the participation of its more than 100 member organizations but also invites the general public to engage in the creation of a fairer and more inclusive future.
The campaign will include a multichannel communication strategy, with a cohesive visual identity, accessible resources, and a narrative designed to inspire and mobilize. A communication kit will be distributed to all members, including design guidelines, graphic templates, and adaptable visual elements to enhance the visibility of activities under a common theme.
The launch will culminate with its presentation at the Annual Forum of the Anna Lindh Foundation in April 2025, where it will be promoted as an inspiring model for other national networks.
