Webinar: Preservation of Wooden Architecture: documentation, conservation and presentation

The Heritage Management Organization continues its webinar series on architecture, 3D laser scanning, and heritage conservation in Ukraine, as part of the project "Architectural Heritage Preservation in Times of War: The Ukrainian Model", implemented by HERITΛGE in partnership with the Kharkiv School of Architecture and Skeiron.

Upcoming Webinar: Preservation of Wooden Architecture: Documentation, Conservation, and Presentation
The discussion will first explore the challenges and methods of documentation specific to wooden architecture, using the example of the global Endangered Wooden Architecture Programme. The second presentation will discuss approaches to conservation, focusing specifically on the ICOMOS Principles for the conservation of wooden built heritage. The final presentation will cover the issues of preservation and display of traditional wooden architecture in an open-air museum.
